Engravity CDU and GoFlight drivers for PMDG / FS9 products
A question that comes up time and again in our forums is why we don’t make and sell these drivers for the PMDG 737NG and 747 products for FS2004 (FS9).
These products require updated gauges that PMDG does not license or make available. As such, even though we have the driver software, it will not function properly with the older gauges.
We don’t anticipate that PMDG will make the updates available to the public, but if they do, we’ll be happy to provide our customers with the driver interfaces for FS9.
Purchase’ Button causes Crash-To-Desktop for some drivers
A small percentage of users are reporting a crash to desktop by Flight Simulator X when they try to purchase one of our driver interface modules by hitting the “Purchase” button.
The reason for this has to do with FSX (and Vista / Win2008) not properly handling the security facility called “Data Execution Prevention” (DEP for short). There are several crashes reported on various flight sim-related news sites, related to FSX and DEP – the solution is always the same: The user has to disable DEP entirely, to run FSX properly.
