| FSLabs' GoFlight MCPProX Driver Released - Friday, September 26, 2008
September 26, 2008 - Flight Sim Labs, Ltd., (FSLabs), announced the release of yet another one of their specialized driver applications, this time to provide an interface between GoFlight hardware and Flight Simulator software.
The GoFlight MCPPro (and optional EFIS) module has been a favorite among users for a long time, due to its quality, durability and affordable price.
FSLabs is now happy to provide owners of GoFlight MCPPro hardware a specialized driver to interface their MCP with the PMDG 747-400X Queen of the Skies for Flight Simulator X.
This interface allows owners of GoFlight's MCPPro hardware to interface their MCP with the PMDG 747-400X for the FSX simulation product. Customers must already own and have installed a GoFlight MCPPro with optional EFIS module(s) in order to use this driver. Installation of the PMDG 747-400X airliner add-on for FSX is of course also a prerequisite.
FSLabs releases 'try-before-you-buy' software and this downloadable driver provides a fully working, area-limited (around Greece's Venizelos airport) version which can be fully enabled by purchasing a license key from within the program, once installed.
You can find and download the Installer for the GoFlight MCPProX driver on the dedicated product page here: http://www.flightsimlabs.com/Interfaces/GoFlightMCPProFSX.aspx
You can contact FSLabs through our forums at http://www.flightsimlabs.com/Forums.aspx.

Athens, Greece, July 1st, 2008 - A new company has seen the light! Flight Sim Labs, Ltd. was founded by Lefteris Kalamaras of Athens, Greece, a renowned developer and designer in the Flight Simulator and games industry. For the past eight years Lefteris has worked for PMDG in the US as Director of Development, being instrumental for the success of their Boeing simulator range of products. Once his work on the FSX line had been completed, he decided it was time for a next step in his career, to open up more opportunities for flight simulator fans. so the founding of Flight Sim Labs was a logical next step.
The focus of Flight Sim Labs is on Microsoft’s Flight Simulator range of products and specifically providing interfaces for (home) cockpits and their hardware, additional aircraft (such as the Concorde) and providing various services to other 3rd party developers.
The first priority is to continue to support the many PMDG customers by bringing them new FSX interfaces for PMDG aircraft and 3rd party hardware suppliers such as FlyEngravity, CPMFlight, Aerosoft and others.
Lefteris has acquired support from a few partners right from the start. Each brings his own very special expertise and experience to the company, thereby assuring great, high quality products and successful interaction with Flight Sim Labs’ customers.
François A. Dumas has joined as the PR Officer and all-around customer focus person, assuring both press and customers will be kept up-to-date at all times of what is going on. François will also shape the company’s website and run the support activities. François is a veteran in the Flightsim industry with more than 30 years of experience.
Andrew Wilson has joined the company (with his associates) and his Concorde X project, building a highly realistic Concorde simulation for Flight Simulator X. Andrew has made a stunning simulation of the Concorde for FS9 and is now set on doing the same for FSX.
